Jesus’ omnipresence is illustrated by His promises and actions. For example in the Gospel Of Matthew Jesus declares that He will be with His Disciples where-ever they go. Jesus in John even clarifies that He and The Father dwell in the hearts of every believer.

19. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20. teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

20. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” 22. Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23. Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Paul also affirmed this in Colossians and Ephesians:

27. To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

19. and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20. that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21. far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23. which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

In the Old Testament, the omnipotence of God is repeatedly showcased through His creation, sustenance, and miraculous interventions in human history. Genesis 1 portrays God speaking the universe into existence, highlighting His supreme power over all creation. The Psalms frequently celebrate His might and control over the natural world, with Psalm 135:6-7 asserting,

6. Whatever the LORD pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps. 7. He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth, who makes lightnings for the rain and brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

The narrative in Exodus 14:21-22, where God parts the Red Sea, demonstrate His unparalleled authority over nature and ability to deliver His people. God's interactions with individuals like Abraham in Genesis 17:1, where He introduces Himself as "God Almighty," and His response to Job in Job 38-41, where He questions Job from the whirlwind. The prophets, especially Isaiah, portray God as the sovereign ruler of nations and history, emphasizing His unmatched strength and control over all events and entities.

The Gospels are replete with instances where Jesus demonstrates divine sovereignty over nature as God. He calms storms (Matthew 8:23-27) just as God did in Exodus. In the Old Testament, God provides manna from heaven to feed the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 16:14-35). Similarly, in the New Testament, Jesus multiplies loaves of bread to feed thousands of people ( Matthew 14:13-21, 15:32-39). Jesus not only walks on water ( Matthew 14:25-26) but also turns water into wine at the Cana wedding (John 2:7-9), mirroring God's provision in the desert (Exodus 17:5-6). In 2 Kings 5, Elisha instructs Naaman to wash in the Jordan River to be healed of leprosy, an act of God's healing through obedience. In the New Testament, Jesus heals lepers directly, demonstrating His authority over disease and impurity (Matthew 8:2-3, Luke 17:12-14). In John 2:19-22, Jesus speaks of His power to raise Himself from the dead, a feat only possible through divine power ( Ephesians 1:19-21). These events reveal His authority over the natural world.

And this is just the beginning of the power of Jesus. The Bible teaches that:

All things are held together in Jesus:

17. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Jesus upholds the universe by the word of his power:

3. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Jesus’ power enables him to subject all things to himself:

20. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Jesus Is THE Creator

Jesus' eternal nature is highlighted across several passages, affirming His existence beyond time. In John 1:1-3, Jesus is proclaimed to be with God in the beginning.

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. He was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

This is further emphasized in [John 8:56-59](https://www.bible.com/bible/59/JHN.8.56-59), where Jesus claims to have been alive before Abraham was. Jesus claims to be life itself in John 5:26 and Jesus says that He had glory with the father before all of creation in John 17:5. The rest of the New Testament teaches that creation was made by and though Jesus ( Colossians 1:16-17 and Hebrews 1:2, 1:10-12). Luke 1:33, Ephesians 1:19-21, and Revelation 11:15, further assert the Jesus will never end and His reign will never end.

The book of Hebrews puts it simply that Jesus is forever and unchanging.

8. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

In Matthew 11:25-27, Jesus acknowledges that His true nature and divine identity are beyond human comprehension. This recognition of His incomprehensibility aligns with Yahweh (Job 37:16, Isaiah 40:28).
This aspect of incomprehensibility is a characteristic traditionally attributed to Yahweh in the Old Testament. The magnificence and mysteries of God's creation are beyond human grasp:

16. Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge,

Similarly, Isaiah 40:28 declares,

28. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.

These verses show that God's ways and thoughts are far beyond human capacity to fully understand or explain. In Matthew 11:25-27, Jesus claims to know God's ways and thoughts, stating:

25. At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; 26. yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. 27. All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

The New Testament elaborates further on Jesus' incomprehensibility through verses like Colossians 2:2-3, which states,

2. that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ, 3. in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Similarly, 1 Timothy reflects on the mystery of godliness, saying,

16. Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

Just as the understanding of God's nature and His ways are beyond human comprehension, so too is the true nature and identity of Jesus. This parallels not only emphasizes the shared divine characteristics between the Father and the Son but also underlines the depth of the mystery that envelops the nature of God as revealed in Christ.
